Name: Shoaib Akram
Bio: Shoaib Akram is an assistant professor at the Australian National University. He has a Ph.D. in computer science and engineering from Ghent University in Belgium, and an M.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. His research focuses on the intersection of programming language implementation and computer architecture. More specifically, his current research focus is on memory management for scalable persistent memory.
